Come with us on this one-of-a-kind whale watching adventure in Banderas Bay. It only takes place during the winter months, from December to March, when humpback whales make their thousand-mile trek from the icy Arctic waters. They travel into the warm waters of Banderas Bay in pods to mate, give birth, and raise their young. You’ll be able to see groups of dolphins, sea turtles, or even manta rays, in addition to the incredible humpback whales. The crystal blue waters of Banderas Bay are brimming with a large diversity of aquatic life.

This whale watching tour is specially designed to give you the ultimate whale watching encounter. The number of passengers is limited to twelve per trip, so you are guaranteed to have a unique, front-row experience. Your guide, Isabel Cardenas, is a professional marine biologist, and she will share her knowledge of whale behavior, migratory patterns, mating habit, and more with the passengers on the Ultimate Whale Watch expedition. Isabel has spent more than fifteen years directing this tour. She is also affiliated with many scientific organizations on a number of different oceanographic research projects, including the National Geographic Society, the Natural History Museum of L.A. County, California, and the Institute of Marine Sciences in Ensenada. Ms. Cardenas is committed to promoting education and interest about marine sciences, in addition to her dedication to cetology research. Arrangements can also be made for Ms. Cardenas to give group lectures or guide field trips for classes.
